  • Me: Oh my god I'm Hot Pie

My amazing friend brought me Ben & Jerry’s ice cream today.

After I told her about the sale and the fact that my mom refused to buy any.

I have the greatest friends.  Ever.

:D

I’m dying.  This is just TOO MUCH.

Update to My NZ Bucket List

Since I’m back home now, I should probably return to the bucket list I made those four months ago and take a look at how many things I accomplished.  So, here goes:

  1. Go to New Zealand
  2. Bungee jump
  3. Swing on a vine
  4. Hug a sheep
  5. Surf
  6. Visit Auckland
  7. Drive a car
  8. Learn how to drive a standard car
  9. Visit the Shire
  10. Make new friends
  11. Visit Wellington, the capital city
  12. Zorb
  13. Buy alcohol legally
  14. Visit a hot spring
  15. Camp under the stars
  16. Befriend a native New Zealander
  17. See a Kiwi bird
  18. See a Tuatara
  19. Try the staple ice cream flavor, Hokey Pokey
  20. Explore a cave
  21. Explore a shipwreck
  22. Visit a pub
  23. Be kissed (it may sound cheesy, but there’s just something romantic about being on the other side of the world…)
  24. Buy a sweatshirt that says “Wellington” (this will only make sense to you if you know me)
  25. Buy a Koru jade necklace
  26. Go sea kayaking
  27. Visit a marae
HOT DAMN.  Only five things that I didn’t get around to?  That’s SWEET AS!  And it’s not as if I didn’t try to make #24 happen.  I just couldn’t find any such sweatshirt…oh well, I’m not too heartbroken.  I also wish I’d gone Zorbing, instead of stupidly passing it up (in an effort to save money) and watching as my friends did it, but I can definitely do that somewhere else.  Or, you know, I’ll just return to New Zealand some day.  :)

21. Have you ever gone skinny dipping?

No, but it’s on my bucket list.

42. Do you have any nicknames?

Absofruitely!  Kels, K-Dog, Wentworth (the result of a stupid, NEVER-ENDING butler joke between my friends), Action Jackson (reserved for one friend and one friend only)…I know I’m forgetting a few…

80. What is a saying you say a lot?

Well, recently it’s been “Sweet as!”, which is an awesome kiwi saying.  I don’t think this next one is a saying, but I always say “You know what?” right before I’m about to (jokingly) insult someone.  I didn’t realize how often I said it until a friend pointed it out.  I’ve also become a fan of saying things like, “I remember my first time walking over flat ground,” (in response to a friend tripping) just to be an asshole.  :D

54. In a relationship?

Nope.

55. Are you a virgin?

Nope again.

56. Can you touch your nose with your tongue?

Nope nope nope!

57. Where were you yesterday?

Home…being a lazy bum and watching ALL the TV.

tjd6790 asked: 65 / 77 / 99 :-D

65. What were you doing last night at 12 AM?

Attempting to stream “The Hunger Games” and failing.  I know, I live quite the exciting life.

77. What would you want to be written on your tombstone?

I actually don’t want to be buried.  I think it’s a waste of space and money.  I’d  rather be cremated and have my ashes tossed somewhere.  But if I were to have a tombstone, I suppose I would want it to have my name, birth/death date, and…well, hopefully something along the lines of “Beloved wife and mother.”

99. Well, since there’s no longer a 99, I’ll just answer the last question, which is 94. Give me your top 5 favorite blogs on Tumblr.

13. What’s your religion?

I don’t really follow any religion anymore, although I was raised Catholic.  I do believe in a higher power and a heaven, though, and I occasionally pray.

22. How do you vent your anger?

Usually by calling one of my two best friends (das right, I have TWO best friends) and bitching until I run out of words, and then I just sort of fume and huff and puff, haha.  I’m definitely a bit hot-headed…

43. What was the last movie you saw?

I saw “The Hunger Games” today, actually.

3. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 23, give me line 17.

And yet occasionally, old ghosts rise…

24. Do you prefer talking on the phone or video chatting online?

Video chatting!  I love to see friends’ faces.  :D

Dammit, you should all ask again.

Because I deleted a bunch of questions.  And the order is now messed up.  I’ll still answer the ones in my Ask, but they’re probably not the questions you wanted me to answer.
